Founders of The Focus Schools Announce Promotion of Elisabeth Kraft-Radka to Head of Schools for Focus Academy and Focus Day School

Temple Terrace, FL (June 2, 2025) —The Founders of Focus Academy and Focus Day School are proud to announce the promotion of Elisabeth Kraft-Radka to the newly created role of “Head of Schools”, overseeing both “Focus Academy” and “Focus Day School” in Temple Terrace, Florida.

“This strategic leadership appointment reflects Mrs. Kraft-Radka’s longstanding commitment to student success, innovation in education, and her deep understanding of the unique mission of both institutions,” said Josephine Isenbergh, Co-Founder of the Focus Schools.

Mrs. Kraft-Radka started with Focus Academy in 2013, serving as one of two ESE Teachers who helped bring the dream of the founders to life. She has served as Principal of Focus Academy since 2017, where she has led the school through a period of growth and enhanced academic programming, while continuing to support the school’s mission of providing a supportive and therapeutic learning environment for special education students. Her leadership has been marked by strong community engagement, a passion for student-centered learning, and a focus on support and professional development for faculty and staff.

With 15 years in education, Mrs. Kraft-Radka brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education and has served in a variety of instructional and administrative capacities, including ESE teacher, lead teacher, and principal. She holds teacher certification in Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, as well as ESOL and Reading Endorsements. Her teaching background spans both traditional and exceptional student education, making her especially equipped to guide Focus Academy and Focus Day School through their next phase of development.

In her new position as Head of Schools, Mrs. Kraft-Radka will provide strategic oversight, foster cross-campus collaboration, and lead long-term planning initiatives to ensure continued excellence in specialized education.
